We're all searching for something. It's part of the human condition.
For me, it was a way of creation that allowed me to shed something in the process, to release everything holding me back, clinging on. Release doesn't usually lead to the creation of something new. Shedding the extra unnecessary junk we all hold on to, be it physical or emotional, doesn't usually lead to having more. It means ridding yourself of something. It means having less.
But in yoga, the opposite is true. The more you release, the more you can create - create within your body - creating space, creating movement, creating love, balance, trust. I use yoga to free me of creative blocks, so that I can find that passion to create within my body. When I feel that creative spirit in my muscles, in my tissue, in every fiber of my being, it naturally flows to my mind.
If you're stuck in your body, you'll be stuck in your head. The reverse is also true. Free your body. Free your mind.
